Acharya - Faculty Development Program, organized by SECTION INFIN - 8 FOUNDATION

About

A three-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Incubation Models, Startup Ecosystem Exposure, Policy Frameworks, and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Alignment was organized by SECTION INFIN-8 Foundation from 8–10 June 2026 with support from AIC-SKU. The program equipped faculty members with knowledge and practical tools to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and incubation ecosystems within higher education institutions. The inaugural session was led by Dr. C. Chandra Mouli, CEO, AIC-SKU, who emphasized the importance of innovation-driven academic ecosystems, while Dr. Shiva Kiran delivered a session on SDG-aligned incubation practices and impact-oriented entrepreneurship. Participants engaged in interactive discussions, case studies, design thinking exercises, startup ecosystem exposure activities, and policy framework analyses, culminating in presentations based on the Incubator Model Canvas. The program concluded with certificate distribution, a vote of thanks, and institutional commitments, successfully strengthening faculty capacity to promote entrepreneurial thinking, establish effective incubation models, implement innovation policies, and align institutional activities with national innovation and startup development goals.
