AIC-SKU Confederation proudly presents Sainikpreneur, an exclusive initiative aimed at empowering ex-servicemen through entrepreneurship. This program focuses on enabling sustainable livelihoods for retired personnel of the armed forces by providing business training, mentorship, and financial assistance to help them transition into the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

About Sainikpreneur

The Sainikpreneur Program is designed to create a structured pathway for ex-servicemen to establish scalable businesses in small towns and rural areas. With an emphasis on agri-business and food processing, the program aligns with India’s vision for rural economic growth and self-sufficiency.

Each year, over 60,000 servicemen below Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) retire from service. While many pursue careers in security services, farming, or small trades, a vast talent pool remains untapped in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Recognizing this gap, AIC-SKU launched Sainikpreneur to bridge the transition from military to civilian business life.

Key Objectives

• Raise awareness among ex-servicemen about entrepreneurial opportunities.

• Provide specialized business training in key sectors like food processing and agri-business.

• Support business creation with access to funding, incubation, and mentorship.

• Enhance socio-economic conditions for ex-servicemen and their families.

• Develop a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in small towns and rural communities.

Program Participation & Structure

Who Can Participate?

• Retired servicemen aged 30-45 years.

• Residents of Anantapur & Sri Sathya Sai districts, Andhra Pradesh.

• Individuals with basic English reading & writing skills (recommended, not mandatory).

• Preference given to participants with agricultural land & an investment capacity of ₹2-3 lakhs.

1. Outreach & Mobilization – Awareness sessions for ex-servicemen.

2. Training & Skill Development – Master classes, technical training, and exposure visits.

3. Business Model Development – Structured mentorship to create viable business models.

4. Financial & Compliance Support – Guidance on government grants, bank loans, and investments.

5. Enterprise Launch & Scaling – Facilitating product diversification, infrastructure, and market expansion.
