Grassroot Innovators Recognition - 2026 by S.K. University, Anantapuramu

Today is a proud moment for AIC-SKU and Sri Krishnadevaraya University as two of our grassroots innovators, Mr. Ushanna Shivaram and Mr. Sudhakar Babu Gariganti, have been selected among India’s Top 26 Grassroots Innovators and received grassroots innovator award by honoyrable union minister Dr Jeetendra Kumar in the presence of President of India *Droupi Murmu under Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog. Their achievement shows that great innovations can come from grassroots ideas and local problems. I now request our Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. N. V. R. Jyothi Kumar Garu, to kindly felicitate Mr. Ushanna Shivaram. Mr. Ushanna has developed innovative value-added products from mosambi waste, including face masks and Mosambi Thandra, and is also working on concentrated mosambi juice. His work is a wonderful example of waste-to-value and sustainable innovation. Our other innovator, Mr. Sudhakar Babu Gariganti, could not attend today due to other commitments. We congratulate him and look forward to felicitating him on another occasion. We sincerely thank IFIA Bharat for providing one-year honorary membership to both innovators. IFIA connects inventors across more than 100 countries and provides opportunities for global recognition, exhibitions, visibility, and international networking. Finally, we express our sincere gratitude to our Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. V. R. Jyothi Kumar Garu, Rector Prof. Anitha Madam, and Registrar Prof. Ramesh Kumar Garu for their continuous support and encouragement.
