A Proud Moment for AIC-SKU at Rashtrapati Bhavan

31 July 2026 will remain one of the most memorable days in the history of AIC-SKU Confederation. It was a moment of immense pride as two grassroots innovators nurtured and mentored by AIC-SKU were honoured at the Grassroots Innovator Recognition 2026 ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, in the august presence of Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India. The awards were conferred by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, and other portfolios. The ceremony was a truly inspiring experience, celebrating the spirit of innovation emerging from the grassroots of India. A particularly memorable moment was when the Hon’ble President personally interacted with our innovators, appreciating their dedication and the real-world impact of their innovations. Out of 26 Grassroots Innovators selected from across the country, AIC-SKU proudly contributed two innovators—a remarkable achievement that reflects the Centre’s commitment to identifying, nurturing, mentoring, and promoting grassroots innovations from rural India to the national stage. The selected innovators were honoured with the prestigious Grassroots Innovator Recognition Pin, a personalised name plaque, and an official Certificate of Recognition presented during the ceremony. The official certificates will also be sent to AIC-SKU Confederation as a lasting recognition of this national achievement. This milestone is not only the highest national recognition received by our grassroots innovators, but also a defining moment for AIC-SKU Confederation, reaffirming our mission of transforming local ideas into nationally recognised innovations. It stands as a testament to what can be achieved through perseverance, mentorship, and a strong innovation ecosystem, bringing immense pride to Sri Krishnadevaraya University, AIC-SKU, and the entire state of Andhra Pradesh.
