Preincubaiton Program to transform Students to Entrepreneurs

@ Atal Incubation Centre –Sri Krishnadevaraya University

 

Vanthenais a flagship preincubation program of Atal Incubation Centre –Sri Krishnadevaraya University(AIC-SKU) that nurtures student innovators to entrepreneurs, started from 28^thFebruary 2023 to 10^th March 2023. This program helps students to turn theirinnovative ideas into business ventures. As part of this program, 8 student teams from three colleges namely Mallareddy College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad; Bapatla Engineering College, Bapatla and SriVenkateshwara Degree and PG College, Anantapur participated.

 

The program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to turn their innovative ideas into businesses. The bridging program lasts for one hundred days out of which two weeks (Vanthena) were organized by AIC-SKU by the experts from various fields at the Atal Incubation Centre Sri Krishnadevaraya University. It includes workshopsand mentoring sessions were organised by experts on Financial and Business Modelling, How to identify IPRs?, linking student innovations to Sustainable Development Goals for sustainable businesses, Branding and marketing of startups and their products, Team Building and management, Market Validation, Go to Market Strategy & Marketing strategies etc.. At the end of this program 8 student groups exchanged Preincubation Agreement with Atal Incubation Centre and committed to become new age entrepreneurs with their innovations. AIC-SKU will assist the student teams in mentoring, prototyping, business modelling and various other aspects for three months and reviewing the progress of the students there after AIC-SKU will offer 24 months incubation support to the students. Prof. Nagabhushanam Raju, Executive Director, AIC-SKU ; Dr. Shiva Kiran, CEO, AIC-SKU; Dr. Chandra Mouli, Incubation Manager, AIC-SKU and startup ecosystem enablers from Bangalore, Hyderabad participated and provided their valuable insights in this program.
