Outcomes

Program Objectives

The major objectives of this program are to create interest amongst faculty, sensitize them towards entrepreneurship and nuances of the startup ecosystem. Other specific objectives are to:

  • Equip the faculty with startup ecosystem processes, skills, and knowledge to lead the innovation/startup/entrepreneur cells in their respective colleges;

  • Understand the process of business idea generation, project formulation & screening for feasibility;

  • Identify and leverage the different avenues/support system available for students and faculty to convert their ideas into innovations and further into business ventures;

  • Give an overview of the startup network which includes mentor support, incubators, and investors in the country;

  • Learn how to identify, nurture, and mentor the students at the early stage of innovation.
